June Girls Camp

I have been in meetings since January planning our stake girl's camp. We had a meeting most every week, if not twice a week. These are just a couple of pictures that I have. There are pictures online from our official stake photographer.
What a great experience. I will have to write about it later. I really need to.

Here is a link to all the pictures:

We had a stake camp song. Here is the link for the song, "Believe":

July 2011 Camping

We went camping with the Wrights, Hursts, Daniels, Jones, and Zabriskies to Smith and More House in the Uintas. This was our third time to this camp. Kyle caught plenty of fish. We fished by the dam and had great success.
After fishing Kyle cleaned and prepared his fish for dinner. He put them in the cooler. That next morning there was aluminum foil all over the ground by our trailer, but no fish. The raccoons had opened up our cooler, unlatched it, and had a feast. They took Kyle's nicely prepared fish and ate them all.

Kristen and Jon met us at camp on Friday evening. These pictures were taken during breakfast on Saturday morning.
Kyle has a new job. He is volunteering for our scuba friend, Mark. Trying to bring in business for Mark's shop, "Rock Bottom Diving", in Pleasant Grove. I took these pictures on my way home from work. It had to be 90 degrees out there.

They love it!
This water was freezing. It was snow just a few minutes ago.

May 2011 - Art Wheless

Uncle Art

Art died April 15, 2011, at home in Bellevue, Washington at age 90. Born January 13, 1921, at Fort Worth, Texas, he was the son of Arthur Davis Wheless, Sr., and Ruth Ella Grieve Wheless.

Art was preceded in death by his parents; two wives: Decillion (Dixie) Million Wheless and Josephine Bradley Wheless; two sisters: Cara Alice Wheless Larsen and Mary Ruth Wheless; two children: Frances Van Woert Lewis and Mark R. Wheless; and one granddaughter.

Art is survived by his wife Leanne Cullimore Wheless; eight children: Dianne Thorniley, Penelope (Dwayne) Hawkes, Michael (Marilou) Wheless, Noelle Million, Jennifer Silverton, Lucille (Harris) Lege, Brian Wheless, Rebecca (Eric Smits) Wheless, 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandson. He is also survived by Leanne’s children: Annette (Simon) Wong and Scott Blair; one granddaughter and three great grandsons.

Art worked for The Boeing Company from September, 1941, until he retired in February, 1985. Most of his years with Boeing were spent in the Seattle area; however, he also was located for eight years in New Orleans, Louisiana, and for shorter periods in Rochester, New York; Paris, France, and Friedrichshafen, Germany. During his many years with Boeing, he worked as a Manufacturing Engineer on over 30 aircraft and space programs including Apollo and AWACS. Near the beginning of his employment at Boeing he worked as a tooling designer in the original Red Barn. In New Orleans Art as “Tillie” was with the Boeing Klown Klub, who visited and entertained sick children.

Art loved to tinker and build and remodel things. After he retired, he volunteered with the Visiting Nurse Service, installing grab bars, wheelchair ramps, etc.

Art had many interests in life. Two of the biggest were traveling and dancing. He traveled throughout the world both with Boeing and personally. He square danced, round danced, ballroom danced and informally “people” danced all over the U.S. and in Canada, Europe and Mexico.

At Art’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.

Leanne Wheless is my mom's older sister. Art was a special man. I remember how kind and loving he was. My last visit to Seattle, many years ago, he made sure we were entertained and taken care of. He gave us a great tour of Seattle.

April and May 2011

April 2011
Tim love to be entertained and he doesn't stop moving.

Tim on Easter Sunday. Toys!

I couldn't resist submitting Kenny's pose. Yes, this is my brother, but most of all I wanted to show his new trailer with Lex peeking out the window.

In May, Kristen and Jon were babysitting for the Rollins in our neighborhood. They stayed at their home with their four children, while the parents went on an anniversary cruise. Tim was on his best behavior.

These are pictures of Kristen, Jon, and Tim in a Provo park. May 2011

April 2011 - Spring Break in Moab

The following pictures were taken on our spring break. We headed to Moab and enjoyed exploring the great-outdoors.

We went hiking up to Delicate Arch and got a permit to hike the Firy Furnace.

We met some friends there. The Allred's use to live by us in Pleasant Grove. They now live in Logan. Heather had a medical conference in Moab, the same week we had spring break.
Of course we went for a ride on the 4-wheelers. Heather took me for a great ride on the side-by-side. We had Luke and Caden sitting in the back in their car seats.

We stayed in Arch View Campground about 10 miles outside of Moab. I got a new "Hang Loose" t-shirt from the Allred's from their Hawaii trip. I'm pretty spoiled, but Kevin got a hula girl for his car.
We went on plenty of hikes, but the scenery was amazing.

April 2011

Guess what our joy is? Tim keeps growing and wanting our attention. Well, he gets it.
He eats almost anything....more than a 6 mos old baby should be allowed.

Well, we got our April snow.
The boys go out to dinner, while Kristen and mom have Bunko at the house. Tim is obviously part of the boys!

March 2011

In March, Nick, Courtney, and Matthew Muir came to Utah to visit from Boston. They had Matthew sealed to them in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. These pictures are from when we all went out to dinner at the South Provo Mall at the Red Robbin.

Cinda and Chuck cam to visit from Lander, Wyoming. They went out to lunch with Kristen, Jon, and Timothy on afternoon. Then one evening they went out to dinner with the other "Criman Clan", Nathan, Lori, and the boys.
Tim continues to grown, respond, and entertain.....

March birthday celebrations:
March is full of birthdays. Kevin, Kristen, and Grandpa Anderson share March birthdays.
Above - Kristen gets new PJ's, Kevin get a tie, Great-Grandpa Anderson poses with Tim, Great-Grandma Anderson keeps Tim amused, and Cinda and Chuck visit from Lander.
It's weird typing "Great-Grandpa" and "Great-Grandma". Can't believe it.

February 2011

We were given some tickets to the Utah Jazz game. It's always fun having dinner at the EnergySolution Center. And getting ice cream. The Jazz were playing the Lakers. You'd think that it was a home game for the Lakers. Not fun. Lakers fans are nutty. And that's being nice.

Kristen and Jon took Timothy to the Midway Ice Show.
I was doing a little genealogy and found this picture posted on ancestry.com. I've never seen my grandparents grave marker finished. They were wonderful people and did so much for our family. They hold a special place in my heart.
This collage is a mixture of February.

The Last Seven Months

It has been too long since I've added pictures to this blog. We have been soo busy. I've been so busy. But we still seemed to snap a few pictures along the way. Our love goes out to all our friends and family. Please enjoy!

January 2011 Soldier Hollow - Midway, Utah

If Timothy was fussy the person to find was Kevin. He had the magic touch.

Kevin was in the play "Anne Frank" at Mountain View High School. He played Ann'es boyfriend, Peter Van Dan.

Updating.....

Wow, I haven't been on my blog for months. I have spent all night updating my pictures, cropping, making collages, downloading.......I have put six months worth of pictures on my computer. Now I will get this blog updated. Not tonight. It's late and I must get to bed. I can't wait to get the pictures on so all family and friends can see them.
Until next time......
