Orem Festival

Tonight is the Orem Fest Parade. Nathan, Kevin and Kyle were invited to march in the parade as soldiers. I think they looked pretty handsome in their uniforms. As I looked at Kyle I couldn't help but think of those young boys who have fought for our country. Pretty humbling.

I am so grateful for all the many opportunities our family has.
We are truly blessed. This time of year we are especially blessed to celebrate
our country's freedoms and the people who fought in our behalf.
Thank you!

Go USA!!!!

EFY

June 7-12th
BYU - EFY

Above - The "Yellow Group". Kevin got to meet kids form all over the US. His group is only a fraction of all kids that were signed up with this session of EFY. The campus was filled with teenagers.

Kevin and Matt Wager roomed together in the dorms (Richard Hall) at BYU. The picture below is them checking-in on Monday.
Kevin had a great experience at BYU-EFY. Especially For Youth is an organized youth conference at BYU. Each day is filled with group devotionals, classes, activities, dances, and the eating experience at the Wilkinson Center. He came home and said, "Mom, thanks for raising me in the church." He gave Nathan and I a verbal summary of his week. We laughed and are grateful he had the chance to go.

Casper Swimming Time

We stayed at a nice hotel. A nice hotel is when there is an indoor pool and kids can swim. Jon's sister, Sarah, met us with two of her children, and Heather brought Lance and the twins. We had the pool to ourselves. I can't show you what Jon was wearing. Hence, that is the reason we took pictures with his suit under the water. (inside joke)

Kristen Graduation

Casper College Graduation
May 14, 2010

Kristen graduated from Casper College, in Casper, Wyoming. She received her associates with a double major in Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre. She was also acknowledged with high honors. We are so proud of her. She spent many hours attending school, working, and being a newlywed.

Kristen with the Dean of the Theatre Department, Tom Empy. He had a great part of Kristen's experience at Casper. We are so grateful for his help with scholarships and Kristen's overall experience at Casper College. Tom was the graduating speaker for the gradutaon. He is retiring after more than 30 years of teaching.
Tom and Sharon always have a smile and were there to support Kristen.

(I forgot my camera at the hotel. These are from our phones.)

Memorial Weekend 2010

For Memorial Monday we headed west to Nine Mile Pass. Steve Wager showed us about 10 miles of trails through the desert. The boys love being on the four-wheelers. I have to admit I go because they love it. I love it when we get home safely.

THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND....THIS LAND IS MY LAND.............

THIS LAND IS MADE FOR YOU AND ATV!

Nathan and Kyle Fishing

KYLE'S BIG FISHING DAY

Today Nathan and Kyle woke up really early and headed to the mountains. They drove to Gooseberry which is in Manti-LaSal Forest east of Fairview (8,000 ft). They spent the day exploring and fishing. Kyle brought home a fish for dinner.

We sure appreciate everyone and all the love and support we receive.
Have a great summer.
