Mountain View went up to Logan High School for a
pre-season game. I was brave and drove 2 hours and made it safely. Well worth the drive. Kevin didn't play the first half so I was a little disappointed, but the second half the coach said, "Kevin get ready to play." He played offense and defense. He assisted with a few tackles and carried the ball a few times.
Mountain View won something like 41 - 14. A great way to start the season. GO BRUINS!!!

Uncle Justin
Allred met us at the stadium. He only lives a few miles away. He was
Kevin's scout master a few years ago. He was proud of Kev, too. I don't know why this turned out
blurry. Must have been the altitude.

Kevin was #8. Behind the
quarterback (
squatting). It's hard to take football pictures. They don't hold
still.

The drive home was not fun, but we made it safely around midnight. There is
soooo much construction and it was so dark. Imagine that. Kev rode home with me instead of on the bus.
Yes, he fell asleep pretty fast. He had seminary at 6:15 am the next morning. Can't wait 'til the next game.
