Spring Break Day 2

Heading toward Moab. We had reservations at Arch View Campsite. We stayed here for three nights. Hook-ups - water, power, cable. Heaven....

Spring Break

Day 1 and 2
Green River, Utah

Heading south, thinking we'd be in a warmer place. Well, true....most of the time.
We headed toward Green River on Saturday, April 3rd. We stayed in the KOA. There were hook-ups so we were liv'n in style. We set up camp and then Nathan and the boys found a church to watch the Priesthood session that evening. The camp hosts let us stay after noon so that we could watch conference on Sunday morning.

Talent All Around

Kevin is so funny. He and dogs entertained on Friday night. Enjoy the show....

"God's Favorite

This week we saw the play Nathan directed, "God's Favorite" written by Neil Simon. It is a comedy and a modern version of the story of Job. It is very funny, but has some very serious moments too. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures. Kevin played Ben, the son of Joe Benjamin. It was his first play at Mountain View. He did a wonderful job along with the rest of the cast.
We sure enjoyed the play. It was fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Anderson come for the day from St. George. We even went to Purple Turtle for dinner after the play.
Next week we will be supporting Kyle in the play at Pleasant Grove Jr. High. He is in "Bye, Bye Birdie".
It's kind of "Drama" at our house.

St. George

St. George
February 12-15, 2010

We spent the Valentine/President's Day weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson in St. George. Well, we really stayed in Hurricane because all the St. George hotels were booked. It was a wonderful weekend. Full of sand, eating, church, eating, shopping, and eating.

We spent Saturday at Sand Hollow and had a picnic with the 4-wheelers. Kyle and Grandpa also went fishing. That evening we hit Mongolian Grill, which is always entertaining and a nice treat.

Sunday we went to church at grandma/pa's branch. Everyone there was so nice. Kevin and Kyle were a couple of the youngest kids there. Since it is an "older" branch there aren't any Sunday School or Aaronic Priesthood classes for their age group. We all met together for Sunday School and they went with Grandpa and Dad (Nathan) to the High Priest Group. We had a wonderful evening eating in their RV and going for a walk up the mountain......Grandma wasn't even breathing hard. She gets the hiking award, along with her dogs - Tulip and Oliver.

Monday, before we went home, we hit Cracker Barrel and had breakfast. Yes, mom and I even found great deals in their gift shop (80% off). Mom also showed me a couple shops downtown, while the boys went to the hardware store. There just wasn't enough time to shop, but there is always next time.

Thanks mom and dad for the wonderful weekend. We love getting together!

KEVIN OUR LITTLE TECHIE

Kevin has enjoyed taking classes from Mr. Criman. In "Little Shop" he learned how to operate the sound board.

SAND HOLLOW

It's hard to describe in words how much fun we had at Sand Hollow, Utah. Just enjoy the pictures. Grandpa and Grandma even learned how to ride a four-wheeler. Grandpa and Kyle also went fishing (not catching.)
